0 MY REVIEW: MAC MINERALIZE RICH LIPSTICKS
Happy to see MAC extend their permanent line of lipsticks!
Now, the new Mineralize Rich Lipsticks (19 new shades) will be available at all times!
The lipsticks are indeed very very very creamy and full of moisture- so your lips will be hydrated at all times! I always love MAC’s colors but many of them are matte and tend to dry my lips- but these ones are different!
I have 3 shades- and I have been testing it for a few days before writing about them to see their staying power and hydration!
The lipsticks just glide easily onto the lips! That’s what I love most about it. It is super rich in moisture that your lips feel very comfortable. And Also another great thing about it (IT IS NON STICKY)!
What I didn’t like was the similar shades in the collection… The pinks where very similar to each other and the dark reds too- felt like it was very repeated in the same collection!

What you will also realize- These lipsticks have a different plastic packaging! Don’t look like the original MAC lipsticks- and also- they have magnetic caps! I kinda like the magnetic caps because it ensures that your lipstick is closed. Sometimes the original mac lipstick doesn’t close well or the cover breaks so at least the magnet ensures closure.
So these are the shades I took (elegant accent , lush life, glamour era) – a pink, a dark red and a beige
Elegant accent is a medium warm rosy color
Lush Life is a deep cool plum. I love how it is a bit translucent- lets your lip shine through. This color changes under different lighting
Glamour Era is more like a caramel beige
0 Rouge Coco Shine- “Empreinte” from SUMMERTIME DE CHANEL collection – My Review
This beautiful collection from Chanel “Summertime De Chanel” screams summer. It includes a mixture of sophisticated nude & coral lips, a mix of muted browns and a focus on glowing bronzed skin!
Chanel- always keeping it classy- opt for pretty simple and subtle shades instead of extra bright hues for the summer.
As Chanel describes it, “Sun-kissed cheeks, magnetic eyes, and radiant beauty”.
This beautiful lipstick “Rouge Coco Shine #437 Empreinte” is a soft beige.
COLOR
The lipstick is more of a sheer formula with a wash of color. The color can be described as a sheer nude. It might seem slightly pinkish but it is more nude. I believe it will not really show on your lips if you have fair skin- but if you have olive skin or you are tanned- it will really pop! The formula does have tiny bits of sparkling shimmers (micro shimmers) – which don’t show as much when worn on lips- only in sun.
TEXTURE
You might think that this super shiny lipstick is sticky- but not at all! It is super moisturizing. Oh … and it smells nice. The shine tends to make your lips fuller. I absolutely love how this lipstick doesn’t have a MATTE color to it. That is what makes it so summery! Light and moisturizing. Most of the nudes being sold in the market are matte and dry- but this nude moist shade will become everyone’s favorite.
MOISTURE
This lipstick is unbelievably MOIST! It’s like a lipbalm with a hint of color. I tried it and I feel that my lips are fully soothed and moisturized. You don’t actually feel that you are wearing lipstick because of how moisturized your lips feel.
So if you are someone who loves light lipsticks or more of a lipbalm person- then this is definetly the way to go- as you will love the texture and sheer natural color.

This beautiful lipstick “Rouge Coco Shine #447 En Vogue” is basically a shade of energizing tangy coral.
COLOR
The lipstick is more of a sheer formula with a wash of color. The color is more towards a peachy coral. It tends to look pinkish too sometimes. The formula does have tiny bits of sparkling shimmers (micro shimmers) – which don’t show as much when worn on lips- only in sun. The color is similar to Chanel Rouge Coco Shine “Monte Carlo” #62 but with lesser red.

Another amazing find from KRYOLAN (GERMAN COSMETICS BRAND)!!
i know how much lipsticks cost in other brands- lets say approx minimum 8 BD (per lipstick) and we tend to buy the different shades of red, different shades of orange, beige, pink ETC.
Well, that really costs $$$$$$!!!

0 Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour
Similar to the recently launched collection “rouge allure” , this new collections involves similar shades but with a different formula!
They have a non dry MATTE texture- yet with an intense rich color for a velvety finish!

1 Amazing Lip Balm- soothing your chapped lips before applying lipstick
When it comes to chapped lips- I can say I’m the queen of chapped lips. It really annoys me, especially when I’m about to apply lipstick! Chapped lips can be seen under lipstick !
I have tried a couple of lip balms/sticks under the lipstick but I didn’t like it as much.
And then there was Bobbi Brown’s Lip Balm-SPF 15…
I must say- I can’t go a day without applying it under my lipstick!!
Let me tell you more about it.
This balm conditions & hydrates your lips. You can wear it to bed, to work, alone or under a lipstick. It brings out the natural lip color. You can get cheaper products that do the same, but to be honest, this balm feels better & I believe it’s more effective.
OK so it might look like a normal balm to you, but it’s not. It’s non sticky/greasy/waxy. And it is the perfect base for your lipstick. I apply it with my lip brush. You can use any lip brush. I don’t recommend using it with your finger as it is slightly hard to get an amount of balm with it. A brush is more effective.
After applying on lips, I apply my lipstick. My lipstick stays longer & you will constantly feel that your lips are smooth & you will feel (exfoliated lips feeling!) Even when you smile (with chapped lips) you will feel like they won’t tear up! It feels stronger and softer. Lipstick application is so smooth with a proper balm base!
I highly recommend this product! Your lipstick (on top) will look moist & smooth! Oh and I also love the chic packaging- a silver tin pot! I love it!
0 CHANEL’S ROUGE ALLURE- “velvet” Lipsticks … amazing colors
It’s here! I’m so excited! This collection is basically focused on lipsticks. It introduced a new formula in Chanel’s line.
The formula: Non-drying + Velvety feel.
They come in 8 shades:
(La Ravissante, La Caline, La Raffinee, L’Exuberante, La Fascinate, La Somptueuse, La Sensuelle, L’Exquise)
I was able to get a sample of 4 colors, and decided to show you the colors on my hand:
Chanel will also release 3 colors of nail polish (Rose Cache, Rose Exuberant & Pirate) + a mattifying topcoat which will be limited edition.
I did try the shades on my lips, wanted to see if they seep in between chapped lips & ruin the look or if they dry up & look flakey. Let me tell you the truth. I have tried MAC lipsticks, Bobbi browns etc you name it, and they do tend to dry up so fast & not make my lips look perfect. Those ones from Chanel, you apply them (with a brush) & it makes your capped lips disappear. It doesn’t allow those lip cracks/lines to show- especially with the orangey shade “La Ravissante 32”! It turns matte after a few minutes & remains for a while.
