0 My Review: Dior SkinFlash Radiance Booster Pen
Most people would consider this a concealer- but to me- I consider it as a brightener/highlighter/concealer than just a concealer.
I really love this product- the DIOR SKINFLASH RADIANCE BOOSTER PEN! I would say it is a great quick fix to brighten you under eye area… If your on the go & in NO mood to use a brush etc.
This light booster pen will smooth away imperfections .. it can work greatly underneath foundation of over foundation- or even if you want- WITHOUT ANY FOUNDATION..
It is very very very lightweight…. what it does is removes fine lines and gives back radiance to the skin…
It is sold in5 shades, but most of the time you will only see 3 shades being sold
The Shade I use is 003 (sun beam) … darkest shade – but it is suitable for olive skin since it is a hint lighter to brighten up.
I love how super creamy it is and very blend-able. However- if u have dark circles under your eye- then u will definitely need a corrector underneath as the DIOR pen won’t cover much of discoloration.
The skinflash is more of a “brightener” .. most of these pen like concealers are brighteners than proper concealers. This is amazing to use on the bridge of your nose too- upper cheek bones.. and even brow bone.. gives instant glow with NO shimmer…
To use the pen- you would need to rotate it clockwise from the bottom so the liquid/cream comes out through the brush. After applying with the brush on desired areas- blend with your finger by patting/dabbing or with a beauty blender.
It doesn’t have that “CAKEY” effect than many concealers show… as it is very light in form of texture. I also love how this pen is very moisturizing… like a cool lotion. Also- it stays for half a day- I would say 8-10 hours…

This Dior collection for spring is inspired by Dior’s garden. Christian Dior owns a beautiful garden in Les Rhumbs, Northern France- A garden which inspired him to produce the many different perfume scents.
A vistor described the garden “At the end of the garden, perched on the clifftop, is a rose garden, breathtaking in its position and diversity, much the same as it was in Dior’s day. You reach it along a path covered by a second pale-grey arched pergola, another of Dior’s designs, which creaks under a mass of climbing roses including New Dawn, the peach-pink Shropshire Lad and deeper pink Gertrude Jekyll and Anne Boleyn. The garden has more than 20 different roses: Alberic Barbier clusters together with the hybrid musk Penelope, Pink Cloud, white Iceberg, a Mme Paule Massad shrub, Mme Alfred Carrière and Pierre de Ronsard. The blooms are everywhere you look, and they are thriving despite their precarious position.”
Dior’s garden has influenced him throughout his career, leading him to produce a collection that represents his garden.
The collection will launch January 2012 (USA).

0 The woman who’s known for her red lips- Dita Von Teese: Get to know her lipsticks
Known for her classic style, pin up hair, black lined eyes & super red lips- Dita Von Teese is also known for her old fashioned style & burlesque dancing.
Simply put, she loves red lipstick. According to her, “I wear the lipstick on my non-red-lipstick days, or when I want to be incognito at yoga class.”
Dita loves Russian Red –by MAC. Russian Red is a very rich matte color that can stay very long on your lips.
It’s very intense & has bluish undertones. This color launched in the 1980’s & Madonna used it in the 90’s!
She also loves Ruby Woo-by MAC.
It’s a color close to Russian Red, but very matte. Top it over Cherry lip pencil by MAC.
Guerlain’s “kiss kiss Excess de Rouge” is another favorite of hers. It’s an extremely creamy lipstick with a beautiful bright red color.
Also, Dior “Diorific Rouge Bingo”- smooth and nondrying with long lasting power.

We all know that applying eyeliner can be hard MOST of the times.. & some people just gave up! To make both eyelined eyes symmetrical is what puts many girls off.
Dior is launching “ADHESIVE EYE LINER PATCHES- VELVET EYES” which acts like a temporary tattoo on the eye.. Let’s just call it the “eye liner sticker”.
It costs $59- comes with 4 pairs of eyeliner patches: 2 are black, one covered with grey crystals, & one covered in white crystals. Glue is included in the box.
Personally- i wouldn’t use them!! They are sort of- funky! I just love the thin type-so simple.. wish they would do that!
0 Dior’s new collection- inspired by his muse
Dior is releasing a small collection to celebrate his muse- Mitzah Bricard. She was a famous French fashion icon who inspired Dior in his creations.
What made her special was how much she loved wearing leopard. Because of this, the eyeshadow in the collection comes in a leopard pattern. It consists of rich shades of chocolate brown, camel & beige – to create a natural smokey eye.
The collection also offers two nail polish shades, brown mascara, & a 5 color eye shadow quint.
Will be available September 2011 at Sephora
